Heavenly Father, I thank You that we have You, Lord, to understand and sympathize and know our true hearts without us saying word. I ask you Lord to comfort __________'s weaknesses and grief over the loss of his/her__________. Therefore, I fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace; that __________ may receive mercy and find grace to help in time for every need with appropriate and well-timed help, coming just when __________ needs it.

Heavenly Father, I thank You that __________ does not sorrow, as one who has no hope, because he/she believes that Jesus died and rose again; even so his/her loved one also who sleeps in Jesus, God will bring back with Him. I ask that You comfort __________, for You said, Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted (Matt. 5:4).

Lord, You told us in John 14:1-4 that in Your Father's house there are many mansions and that You have gone to prepare a place for those that love You and that You will come back and take us to where You are. Help _________him/her take comfort, Lord , in knowing that __________him/her is with You.

Jesus, You have came to heal the brokenhearted. It is in the name of Jesus that You, Lord, comfort __________ because You have loved him/her and have given him/her everlasting consolation and good hope through Your grace. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts __________ in all his/her tribulation, that he/she may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with a comfort as only you can provide , Lord Jesus.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for appointing unto __________, who mourns, to give unto him/her beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that he/she might be called a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that You might be glorified.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
